Panic takes over as the dive boat - with the word Aladdin inscribed on the hull - is swallowed by the ocean as people throw themselves headlong into the water.
Within seconds, it disappears.

On a second nearby boat, Swedish diver Dennis Karlsson, 46, filmed the carnage after watching the boat capsize off the Thai coast shortly after noon yesterday.

The tourist vessel, allegedly operating illegally, was cruising between Bon Island and Tachai Island when the wooden hull of the boat was punctured causing the boat to tip.
Luckily for the 13 passengers on board the Aladdin, Phuket-based boat Peter Pan was close by and able to rescue them all.

"It was just coincidence that our boat was there and could come to the rescue," Mr Karlsson told Sweden's Aftonbladet newspaper.
"It was really, really serious."

It is believed Aladdin, based in Ranong, a Thai port on the border with Burma, was on a four-day live-aboard adventure.
According to park officials, it was not a registered vessel and should not have been operating.
